The Application!

Welcome to False Awakening's character application! We understand it might be daunting with the mounds of coding entitled; so, reading and following the directions below would be opportune for all members.

The very first must-have we need to address is title: when a topic containing a member's character application is posted, it needs to be titled with that character's last name, a comma, then their first name, and finally a period. Middle name is also allowed to be placed after the first name and before the period; however, it is not required. Please note, the names placed in the title need to be the character's chosen names, or the names they will be using in the dream.
The topics needs to be posted in the [ A w a i t i n g C h a r a c t e r s . ].
Having a new topic started and titled, the next step is to copy the code in the post below and paste it into the blank space. And now is when it becomes slightly more complicated---attentiveness is definitely needed as the application is filled out.
Areas needing information will generally be either capitalized or between two different types of brackets: between these [ ] or these < >. Both capitalized portions and notes need to be removed and replaced with the character's information; however, in case of the latter set of brackets, only remove if the content is simply a sentence---if it contains oddities, which often start with "div style," DO NOT REMOVE THEM.
Once the notes have been erased and all the area have been editted to contain the information of the character, post the topic and an administrator will take a glance at it as soon as possible.

Members should absolutely not post at all until their application has been accepted, this includes posting in the out of character sections. Posts placed by an unapproved member will be promptly deleted and the member shall be punished appropriately.
Approved applications will be replied to with the following stamp: [INSERT APPROVING STAMP HIAH.] Administrators will also reply to address all problems with the posted application, if needed.

The administrators and moderators deemed Nightmares do not have "The Reality!" section of the application, due to their lack of a reality. The Nightmares, formed when the Dream Realm was originally produced, have never known the Real World, so they are exempt from that certain portion.
